Tweens are changing daily (have we noticed?!). One day a sweet and caring child, the next screaming new words. One day clean and tidy, the next greasy and unkept. One day organized and on time, the next can’t find his science worksheet. Certified Parent Educator, Paige Trevor, will lead a lively discussion on the joys (and perils) of parenting during the tween years. We will chat about the adolescent brain, normal and annoying developmental issues, and how to keep the lines of communication open. Our job description changes mightily from 6th - 12th grade - we will talk about ways to let go without abandoning and help without rescuing. The evening will be fun, interactive, informative and chock-full of resources to continue learning.
